On December 20, 2022, a group of experts from the Society visited Qingdao Soar Automobile and held a white paper seminar on new power systems. Qingdao Soar Automobile is an enterprise focusing on the research and development of emergency and rescue special vehicles and supporting power systems. The seminar focused on the theme of “New Electric Power System” and aimed to discuss the technical trends of the industry through the cooperation between industry, academia and research institutes.

It is noteworthy that after 2021, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Energy Bureau have successively issued guidelines for the construction of new power systems, and such early industry seminars have provided practical reference for subsequent policy formulation. As Qingdao is the first green city construction pilot in China, such technical exchanges are exemplary for local industrial upgrading.
